Our Beginning.
Serendipity’s founding Director, Trish Lever identified that the health professionals she worked with had a genuine interest to improve the wellbeing of their clients and patients, however many did not have the experience or at times bandwidth to manage the day-to-day aspects of a clinic.
Administration, finances, business planning, human resources – all key to running a successful and growing practice, all very challenging and to be honest not taught as part of a clinician’s healthcare degree
The Medical and Allied Health marketplace has seen growing competition with the increase of patient’s expectation’s for convenience and choice and the increased number of practices opening in particular large multidisciplinary practices. This has meant practice owners no longer can be just clinicians to stay competitive they also need to effective marketers, smart strategists, strong managers, inspiring leaders, oh and data analyst’s.
Recognising this, many Allied Health owners have gravitated towards membership-based Healthcare Consulting groups. They are provided with templates, tools and generalist advice to work from, but this is where it came unstuck for many. Practice owners have fleeting access to coaches so don’t know how to tailor it to their unique practice and they may not have the experienced people in place within the practice to help support and execute.
Trish recognised that there was a need for a more personalised approach to specialist and medical Allied Health consultancy services and this is how Serendipity Consulting was created.
Serendipity Consulting is a boutique consulting agency based on the Central Coast and we work with a select group of Allied Health practices in the Hunter, Sydney and other areas of Australia.
